What is a Bushel Box?
A bushel is a measure of volume not a measure of weight. All boxes that are sold by the bushel or any fraction of a bushel have been inspected to be the declared size set by the US Department of Agriculture. There is no set weight of a bushel, because the weight is directly impacted by the size of the produce. For example, if there were very small peaches in a 3/4 bushel box, the box would weigh a few pounds heavier than if they were all very large peaches.
What if I have any issues with my box?
We have a 24 hour grace period after your box is picked up for you to contact us with any issues. This is fresh product, that can be damaged easily. The grace period helps us to easily determine if the issue is on our end and to accommodate you.
