Peach Jam

Peach Jam

You can make peach, nectarine or apricot jam with this recipe!

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds peaches (15ish medium sized peaches)
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions 

  1. Wash your peaches, cut all peaches in half to remove the pit and put into a large saucepan.
  2. Once in a saucepan blend your peaches down with an immersion blender (potato masher, regular blender, or food processor works)
  3. Stir in sugar and lemon juice until combined.
  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring often, until mixture thickens. I cook mine down for around 40-50 minutes
  5. Remove from heat 
  6. Transfer to sanitized jars
  7. Once cooled you can freeze for around 6-12 months or process in a water bath canner for 10 minutes (check your elevation)
